Re wilding in Chelmsford?

What a day! The sun was shining as we got to the location for this escapade.

Having never created a piece of street art, I was a little anxious.

But I didn’t need to be. It was great fun.

Using spray paints, stencils, posca pens and acrylic paint, I created a piece of street art on a bollard alongside the River Chelmer.

I had been asked to do this as part of Chelmsford’s Street Art Festival, Concrete Canvas. A fantastic event with renowned artists and festivities in the gorgeous city.

I used the idea of re-wilding for my composition on the concrete bollard.

Next time I’m asked I will say yes. So pleased I said yes this time, learnt so much, met great fellow creatives and the lovely interested people of Chelmsford. Plus the mayor.

Moral of story is face the fear and do it anyway.
