Description
Paintings recalling the texture, colour and majesty of The Acropolis in Athens. Recollections of a wonderful family trip.
My work emerges from the intersection of memory and landscape — a space where perception, emotion, and time converge. I approach painting intuitively, allowing color, texture, and gesture to guide the process rather than predetermined form. Each piece begins as a recollection — a fleeting impression of a place, the sensation of light, or the rhythm of a horizon — and evolves into an abstraction that captures the essence rather than the image. Through layering and improvisation, I seek to translate the inner experience of landscape: not how it looks, but how it feels remembered.
A mixed media painting on ply, framed and mounted in a white glazed box frame 23cm x 23cm
