It’s been a while since I have written anything here. So lots to catch up on

So end of last year, I just did loads of fares and exhibitions and most importantly started as Artist in Residence at a local secondary school

Southchurch Art Trail

Way back in September I was delighted to be included as part of the inaugural trail. Great event and beautifully hosted by my hosts. Thanks to Karen Mitchell for her organisation and curation of the artists and work. Great high street which I didn’t know very much about. Hope to do this next year.

east Hanningfield Exhibition

Great organisation of so many art works in this exhibition. So much variety and my lovely friend Sharon Anne Stone sold too. May be me next year?

Black Strap Exhibition New City Gallery

Then a few days late, the joy of being included in The New City Gallery collective show “Black Strap”. Thanks to all those involved for their hard work and especially Niki Cornish

The Noise arts Festival Thundersley

Meanwhile at the same time I was delighted to be part of the Noise Arts Festival in Thundersley Village. Thanks to Robert Michael for hosting me. Great space and lots of positive feedback

Exhibition at utopia Southend

This was a joy to do. Lots of work that I created a long time showing their faces. Perfect location for these and again lots of positive feedback

Southend Art Club exhibition

It’s only when you look back on things that you realise how busy you’ve actually been. Here is some of my work entered into the Southend Art Club. What a great event this was. Beautifully curated and with a jazz band too. Really enjoyed marshalling at this too

Leigh Drinks Co Exhibition

And then there became an opportunity to exhibit at this little gem of a location. Katie and Ben couldn”t have been more accommodating and I know I’m biased, but I think this place is so suited to my work. Thank you to you both.

Leigh Drinks Co Exhibition
Llloyd’s Art Group at Lloyd’s old library

This has been a busy year no doubt. But this event was a serious hilight. I was able to take my elder son, husband and father to this. Great networking and art work and even better some commissions based on this exhibit.

Connected Arts Festival at Victoria Plaza

I do hope this will be an annual event. it was so lovely to be a stall holder along with pals; Sharon Anne Stone, Paula Pavitt, Tina Robertson, and Leda. So fabulous to meet a variety of different nationalities and learn more about them. Made some good sales as well

Work from Artist in Residence

Finally got my DBS through.so I could start my artist in residence stint at St Bernard’s . This is just the most brilliant thing. Love interacting with the enthusiastic students and the space to work in without interruption or distraction. Looking forward to more of this this year.

Old Leigh Christmas market Crooked Billet

This was just a joyful fair to be involved with. One of many that I participated in throughout November and December. Although an outdoor event and a bit chilly, It was a great day and I sold an original piece too

.Thank you to anyone who came to see ma at any of the many events and said hello and or bought anything from me

Southend Art Trail

Finally my three paintings as part of the Southend Art Trail. Thanks to The Ironworks for organising

I have been very fortunate to have been commissioned to create some large pieces of original floral artwork. This makes me believe in the conviction that I am going in the right direction.

I have been super busy with pet commissions too.

Lets hope this year is as productive and successful as last year
